A graduate of the ENSATT Drama School in Lyon, Pierre-Yves Toulot began his artistic and technical career designing lighting for live performances. A few years later, he branched out, making a name for himself as a projection artist, illuminating buildings and monuments. Pierre-Yves Toulot was a co-founder of the Cosmo AV creative studio in 2003 and in 2017 set up WHATSIT, a video mapping consultancy. He went on to create IntensCity two years later to offer digital illumination solutions for heritage sites. Pierre-Yves Toulot designs and advocates sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.
