In the former Augustine cloister, now the courtyard of the Lycée La Martinière - Diderot, thirteen coloured luminous arches retrace the former architecture of the place, symbolising the journeys of the pupils and students who pass through every day.
As you stroll through the labyrinth, you drift between the past and the future, giving free rein to your imagination to discover the square with new eyes.
________
About the project
The work was designed by students from three sections of the DN MADe (National Diploma of Art and Design) course, plus a department from the ENSATT Drama School.
The students of these sections first took part in a competition. The winning project was then produced collectively by all the students during a series of creative exercises. The students were involved in all stages of the project, from the creative phase to the actual implementation, as well as in the communication.
