The pair wonder why nature, with all its diversity and creativity, has not produced aerostatic forms of life! It’s a good question and one they answer, as artists and inventors, with research, experimentation and performances. Their work expresses all of their favourite words, namely aerostats, suspensions, acrobats, musicians, azure and sky! Jean-Pierre David has even set up an association called “Aérosculpture” to share his enthusiasm. His machines and installations have flown through the skies of Japan and Turkmenistan, as well as over the Great Wall of China.
