IED Barcelona is part of an international arts education group with 11 branches in Europe and Latin America. The teaching model is simple, consisting of adding theory, practice and concrete applications in the workplace. Design, fashion, visual communication and art restoration are taught in separate schools. The aim for design students is to think and design projects that are one step ahead of current environmental and social issues. Design is used as a universal language to facilitate change. Slow light is an invitation to think about the place and variety of light sources in our everyday lives!
