Caizergues, born in Lyon, has been working in the world of entertainment, architecture and events for 20 years. He has been a loyal artist to the Festival of Lights since 2007 and is today one of its ambassadors, taking his work across the globe from Singapore to Toronto. Yves’ spectacular installations are always a great success, and the public still remembers his famous mirror ball at the Fourvière basilica in 2014. Yves is also an advisor and consultant, and contributes to a wide range of projects, such as Anooki’s for the festival. For the triptych he’s presenting in 2018 at the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, the lighting designer has joined forces with the Lyons composer Merovee and TETRO, who were behind the phenomenal GRID in 2013. The work consists of an immersive light trail that brings out the best of the recently-renovated monument.
