A jumble of light projectors which may - or may not - be in working order are patiently awaiting us. They have all been collected by the artist and piled 6 metres high in what seems, at first sight, to be a display of pure nostalgia. But the installation makes us think too - what is it that attracts us to light? Has light always been a source of inspiration for art? What can be done with obsolescent equipment? Extracts of speech captured in different parts of the local community form the soundtrack, adding a narrative dimension. Seeing these projectors looming out of the darkness fires our collective imagination.
