We cannot fail to be impressed by the artistic talents of the Spanish collective Luzinterruptus. Their installation is characterised by simplicity, unconventional beauty and visual salience. The artists have chosen a public arena to drive home their message. Plastic pollution, overconsumption and waste of all kinds is right under our noses... But this installation reminds us that we still love our environment and need to protect it.
This display has been carefully crafted to be low-tech art: the plastic bottles it has upcycled are sourced locally and lighting is reduced to a minimum.
