Gérard Torres initially trained in mathematics and mechanics but was also a student of Fine Arts and attended Lyon’s reputed Academy of Music. His highly eclectic career has been marked by this multidisciplinary approach and various important collaborations. He has worked as a musical composer for the past twenty years, frequently making use of software and teaming up with other artists on film, drama and dance projects. In parallel, he directs videos where he explores the relationship between sound and vision.
