Faniulo is not new to the scene! The company was originally founded in Puglia, Italy in 1865. At the time, 2,000 little oil lamps were placed in coloured glasses to make patterns with light.

Cotton wicks have since been replaced by LEDs, but the creative spirit lives on. Faniulo explores the theme of lace, imagining wide curved arches and monumental pediments,

candelabras and garlands of light to festoon a public space. These ephemeral installations have found favour in all corners of France, from Calais to Montbéliard, and of course Paris, not forgetting Lyon where they decorated Rue de République and Rue Édouard-Herriot from 2003 to 2005.
