Kaïs Dhifi’s imagination and artistic journey have been shaped by his travels and some life-changing encounters. To design his sculptures and installations, he goes where his instincts take him, but never loses sight of the essential. He knows no borders and refuses to be pigeonholed. His creations are inhabited by fantastic creatures. Kaïs Dhifi: “My inspiration is Tolkien, in particular, and my planet is Metalia!” He likes his works to travel too; his ideal is for them to prompt people, wherever they may be, to take a moment and observe their environment.
