Philipp Frank, a native of Germany and French by adoption, is known for situating his immersive installations and performances in natural settings. He explores the connections between the environment, geometry and human activity, with his creations having been showcased in around twenty countries, receptive to his desire to "transcend the ordinary". His interest in illustration, graffiti and photography have also steered him towards contemporary art.
For Coral Ghosts, Frank has collaborated with the Lyon-based production agency Baam, which, in 2023, produced Sign by Vendel and De Wolf, which was also shown in the Place de la République.
