Built in 1885 by Gaspard André, the Jacobins Fountain is one of Lyon's key historical monuments and as such, like any precious jewel, it deserves a special setting! And what a setting it is! A sundial of beams of light makes the monument disappear and then reappear, sometimes illuminated, sometimes on pause... before revealing itself once again! Clouds of smoke complete this spectacular magic trick, which can be enjoyed from all over the square. Audiences can choose a single view point... or walk around, letting themselves be entertained by this game of hide-and-seek that elevates the fountain to a new level. It'll be easy to find the Place des Jacobins - just follow the lasers, visible from far away!
