The Lyon-based plastic artist Nawelle Aïnèche offers us a rather unusual immersive experience - inside the auditorium. Outside is a monumental installation which takes the shape of a cumulus cloud woven from video tapes. This creates a reflective medium upon which artist Pia Vidal is projecting memories.
Nawelle Aïnèche is referring here to traumatic memories and the flashbacks that arrive without warning. They are represented by mural sculptures, again in the form of clouds of light. The installation is given an added dimension with torches and tactile access points so that spectators can enjoy an even more intense experience.
