Place des Jacobins

Place des Jacobins lies in the heart of Lyon’s central Presqu’ile at the intersection of a number of bustling shopping streets giving it busy, prosperous feel. It owes its name to the Jacobin monks or Friar Preachers of the Order of Saint Dominic who occupied the building to the south of the square. It was given a complete makeover in 2013 with the addition of a pedestrian area around its magnificent fountain.

Les Lumignons du Cœur - L’île des Jacobins

5, 6 and 8 December from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday 7 December from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

A rendezvous between the river Rhône and Saône: we are riding on the wave of generosity of the Lumignons du Cœur. The scene is set in our home port anchored in the middle of the place des Jacobins.
