They are waiting for us: skulking under a leaf, hiding at the foot of a tree, peeking around a corner… The flora and fauna of Parc Blandan are all aflutter at the prospect of a Festival of Lights. What a perfect opportunity for us all to meet the other occupants of the park! Kuhl's pipistrelle bats, chiffchaffs, bluetits, southern small white butterflies, common wall lizards and a host of other species will emerge from the shadows when you shine your UV torch. These clandestine creatures will be our guides, leading us to each of the glimmering installations as the park shows itself in its true light. Digital technology blends with performance art to create a spell-binding experience. But we need to be all ears as well if we are to help Mother Nature compose a melody that is ours too.
