Did you know that toys were once sent into space?!! As part of 1985 project by the high-brow NASA, dozens of toys were sent into orbit, with the aim of testing and observing them in order to provide U.S. schools with educational and recreational resources. Some thirty years on, the Festival of Lights is paying tribute to this strange mission by opening up Parc Blandan to space exploration! Specially designed by Super Idée, seven immersive works inspired by the 1985 expedition transform the park into a digital funfair of light. There's plenty to see and do, including walking through magnetic marbles, defying the laws of gravity, simulating a space launch, searching for water and life on Mars, playing with the planets and drawing with luminous pixels... Get ready for take-off into a stratospheric family experience!
